TSO3 Receives Endorsements from Instruments ManufacturersMay 26, 2005Québec City, May 26, 2005 – TSO3 Inc. (“TSO3”) (TSX: TOS) receives compatibility endorsement for its technology from two leading medical device manufacturers named Richard Wolf and Volk Optical. These manufacturers develop and market instrumentation for minimally invasive surgical procedures and ophthalmic procedures.“A compatibility endorsement implies that the manufacturer wishes to promote that their instruments can be repetitively processed in the 125L Ozone Sterilizer”, said Jocelyn Vézina, CEO at TSO3 Inc. “It is a testimonial of their confidence in the future of our technology in the sterilization industry”. “Our customers look for more efficient ways to sterilize their instruments“, said John Strobel, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Volk Optical. “As TSO3 offers a secure method of sterilization with a faster turn around time for customers, we are pleased that we can now suggest TSO3‘s products as a compatible method of sterilization with our devices”. TSO3 agrees that endorsements add value for promoting its product to customers but recognizes that they are not necessary for the manufacturer’s instruments to be sterilized with ozone. TSO3’s responsibility is to validate material compatibility and sterilization efficacy of medical devices for the benefit of mutual customers. The 125L Ozone Sterilizer is being used to sterilize reusable medical devices such as surgical instruments and heat sensitive devices. To continue expanding the capabilities to process new medical instrumentation, TSO3 established the Manufacturers Testing Program to assure mutual Customers that their reusable medical instruments can be safely and repetitively processed in the 125L Ozone Sterilizer. This is accomplished through the cooperation of medical device manufacturers, material and process suppliers.
