Manufacturers Testing Program

The Manufacturers Testing Program (MTP) is a service to medical device manufacturers, material and process suppliers to validate compatibility of their products or services with the 125L Ozone Sterilizer.

The MTP performs standardized material compatibility studies to 100 cycles and will validate that reusable medical devices can be safely and repeatedly sterilized. Optional biocompatibility and simulated use studies can also be performed.

Since its introduction, TSO₃ has tested hundreds of materials, polymers, adhesives and processes for compatibility with the 125L Ozone Sterilizer. We recommend reading the List of materials compatible with the TSO₃ 125L Ozone Sterilizer (pdf 91,8 kb).

If you wish to join the MTP, please complete the Test Contract (pdf 181 kb) for each device, material or process you want to submit for validation testing. TSO₃ invites you to identify materials that will come into contact with the sterilant during reprocessing.

All testing is under the guidance of the TSO₃ confidentiality policy and to this end TSO₃ will forward you a Confidential Disclosure Agreement. All tests are performed in compliance with TSO₃ Quality System (ISO13485) and are documented based on Good Laboratory Practices guidelines.
